Disgruntled but nevertheless enjoyed the book.

I would have given it 4 stars even with all the grammatical errors. But the author goes into a rant in the beginning justifying the price saying that he spends more than 120 hours per book (novelette).

If you're going to sell an average of 90 pages for 3 dollars or 454 pages for 10 dollars then it should be perfect or without any glaring errors that any proof reader could fix.

I almost never write reviews but trying to justify the price really irked me after having read the book.

Now going to the book itself.

The plot is well thought out, some what predictable but it does surprise, at times.

The mc gets overpowered in a good way. What I mean by that is that he progressively gets stronger without destroying the plot and making it believable.

Conclusion: If knowing that the book has glaring grammatical errors and the price doesn't bother you then buy the book, it is enjoyable.

P.S. The book isn't riddled with errors every page but every chapter or so and besides those errors it's well written. Also when I speak about grammatical errors I'm talking about having tense errors or missing words in a sentence.

A promising setup, but...

I should start by saying that despite my rating, overall, I really did like this story. The concept is a bit of a twist on the LitRPG genre, as the title is a reference to how the protagonist is reborn into a plane of existence that features the mechanics of a MMORPG. Why is the world this way? The deity who created the world thought it would be fun. This was a promising start, that did lead into varied interactions between the members of the cast, as the protagonist acclimated to the new environment and culture that he found himself in.

So after all of this, why the heck am I only giving this two stars? If you are reading this review, odds are you have also read Reinaldo Cervini's
review of this work, which highlights the problem areas. If you have not, you should know that the grammar is riddled with errors, not quite on every page, but often enough so that a misplaced word or missing comma will make it challenging to stay immersed in the text. This is compounded by the issue of pricing. At the end of the first series of chapters, the author states that about 80 hours is spent per set of chapters, hence the price you see listed. The issue with this is that should not have to be said in the work, it should be good enough to stand without it. It instead acts to exacerbate the awkward sentence structure, and how the ending cuts off in a manner reminiscent of a certain someone saying "screw you guys, I'm going home!"

Not a quality product

Amazon's book rating system is poor -- I didn't "dislike" the "book" but, in truth, the book deserves a much lower rating than "3"...

Value: There isn't much "value" in paying $10 for what amounts to a single book of dubious quality, and especially not for the $15 it would have cost at the original "per novella" price.

Quality: The author has "borrowed" from multiple sources, giving some substance to what's essentially a "gamer's diary".
The story is "okay", the editing and proof reading are terrible -- even worse, laughable. Major errors average one or more per paragraph, often throwing a reader entirely out of the story. The author apparently doesn't read/learn from his reviews -- I see little improvement between the "5 episodes". It has the feel of writing translated from another language, without someone familiar with the target language actually proofing the document.

Basically, a "once-through" rough draft, and an insult to readers. As an additional "insult", there's the author attempting to justify price by number of writing hours. I'll not be reading any more of the author's releases -- the price definitely isn't justified by quality...
